In July 2024, Prof. Gavrilova’s excellence in research, teaching and mentorship across the globe was recognized with an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Computer Graphics Society. The award was given in person at the 42nd Computer Graphics International Conference CGI 2024. Prof. Gavrilova shared her insights on the future of Computer Graphics in the era of AI during CGI Invited Panel. She presented her vision and chaired a session next to Robot Nadine, created by one of the world's research visionaries Prof. Nadia Magnenat-Thalmann.
